RESOURCES

Resources include three main sections devoted to Archives, Bibliographies and Publications respectively.

Within the Archives, the link leads to the “Fonds Jean-Claude Gardin (1948-1978)”, housed at the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Mondes (MSHM), Nanterre, France.

As for bibliographic data, some Bibliographies published in the 1980s and 1990s have been collected, and the database of the “Bibliography of Archaeological Computing” – regularly implemented during the first ten years of publication of the Journal Archeologia e Calcolatori (1990-1999) – is being revised and made available online, featuring more than 2,700 titles.

Publications focuse on specialist Newsletters. Starting in the United States in the 1960s with the «Newsletter of Computer Archaeology», they played a key role in the dissemination of information and in the evolution of archaeological computing.
